The Food & Wine Festival is a highly anticipated event organized by the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association (SAiRA). SAiRA is a local organization whose members consist of local restaurants. Additionally, each year they collaborate to highlight the very best of the city’s cuisine during the Food & Wine Festival. In fact, this event kicks-off a major event in the area called Restaurant Week. Proceeds from the event benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida.

Members of SAiRA:

VIP Event

The hour-long VIP event begins at 12:00 pm and costs $125 per attendee. It kick-starts the festival with a featured dish paired with champagne and followed by select wine and food. Lastly, attendees can enjoy an exclusive raffle. Winners of the raffle receive a private dinner for eight people. Additionally, the dinner is prepared in the winner’s home by a professional chef. Those interested should buy tickets well before the event as tickets sell out quickly.

Food & Wine Festival

This festival is an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to celebrate flavors from the city’s best restaurants, support our local community, and of course, enjoy delicious cuisine. Upon arrival, guests are greeted at the door and given a unique souvenir wine glass (as seen in Figure 1). From there, attendees can meander about and enjoy the highlighted plates from different eateries. These dishes include a variety of appetizers, main courses, salads, and desserts. Also featured during this event are a beer garden, spirits from the St. Augustine Distillery, over 100 wines, and a silent auction.
