World Changers Concert

Daniel Garcia*, “The Walking Man”, and Global Walk Inc. bring their production of the ‘World Changers Concert’ to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Friday, December 8, 2023.

The patriotic event is to honor and thank God, veterans, first responders and their families. Guests of honor include Gold Star families who have lost military family members in the line of duty and to acknowledge their loss, grief, and continued healing.

The Long Run (TLR), an Eagles tribute band, will be featured. From central Florida, they capture the energy, guitar techniques and vocal harmonies of the Eagles to an art. TLR consists of the finest and most respected musicians who have shared the stage with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eddie Money, Trace Adkins, Steppenwolf, Beach Boys, and .38 Special.

Event guest speaker is national bestseller Karen Vaughn.  She’s the author of ‘World Changer‘, the story of her son, Navy Seal Aaron Vaughn. Aaron was killed in action in the Tangi River Valley of Afghanistan on Aug 6, 2011 when a Chinook helicopter with 29 other service members was shot from the sky while rushing into battle.  All perished.  Karen will speak and inspire guests with her speech, the Cost of Freedom.

The St. Johns County Veterans Council, Vietnam Veterans of America, and others that support veterans, first responders, and their families will have tables at the event.

Proceeds will be donated to charities to include those in St. Johns County that serve this worthy group of servants, some of whom are homeless veterans.
