In response to the Governor’s Safer at Home order, St. Johns County, the City of St. Augustine, and the City of St. Augustine Beach have all extended facility closures and program cancellations associated with COVID-19.  The closure extension applies to all St. Johns County public libraries, recreational programming, recreational facilities, and the beaches.

 

Learn the ins and outs of saltwater fishing in Florida at Saltwater Fishing 101.  This free program is on Wednesdays, April 8 through May 13, 2020 from 9:00am-11:00am.

April 22, 2020 — Local Fishing Spots
April 29, 2020 — How to Clean Your Catch
May 6, 2020    — How to Cook Your Catch
May 13, 2020   — Surf Fishing (at Nease Beachfront Park)

All classes are at Usina Boat Ramp, with the exception of May 13, 2020.

Please note that all participants must have a Saltwater Shoreline License. This is a free license from FWC.
