SJC Parks & Rec has partnered with Kelly Tesiero of Nurture Nature to teach about native plants in the Native Landscaping Workshop.  Easy care tips and techniques to attain a native, Florida-friendly landscape.

Promote pollinators, invite birds into your yard, and enjoy wildflowers with less work. Learn which natives to plant and which to avoid.  The workshop covers a list of high blooming plants that are super-easy to grow and attract wildlife.

Bonus pruning demonstration included …. so, bring pruners and plant questions.

Where: Solomon Calhoun Center Community Room

When: 10:00am-12:00pm  || Saturday, September 16 and Friday, September 29
