The City of St. Augustine, in conjunction with St. Johns County Utilities, will host a special community recycle event which includes used cooking oils and household electronics on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 7:30am-2:30pm, at two convenient drop points.
Where: 25 W. Castillo Drive (Francis Field downtown) and at 840 West 16th St. on Anastasia Island.
When: Wednesday, January 5, 2022
Time: 7:30am to 2:30pm
Participants are encouraged to properly dispose of used cooking oil, such as vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, etc., as well as drop-off outdated and broken “E-waste” (electronic devices) such as computers, printers, laptops, and cell phones.
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE OR TVs. NO MOTOR OIL.

Throughout the year, the City of St. Augustine accepts all recyclable materials daily during regular business hours, at the Solid Waste Facility and at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 601/501 Riberia St. (respectively). St. Johns County Anastasia Island Wastewater Treatment Facility accepts only used cooking oil year-round at 860 West 16th St.
