First Coast Opera Presents Copland’s America on Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28, 2023 at Celebration Hall at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

In the Opera’s season opener, celebrate the Dean of American Composers. Copland’s music is renowned for its distinctively American sound and its ability to evoke a sense of place and time.

Enjoy listening to ‘The Tender Land’, an opera that showcases Copland’s ability to capture the essence of rural America and his ‘Old American Songs’, a collection that is a beautiful representation of folk melodies and patriotic themes.

The evening includes a a sit-down dinner catered by La Cocina International Restaurant of St. Augustine. Enhanced ticket holders will enjoy a pre-dinner Champagne Reception with special surprises.
