Used Oil / Electronics Recycling Event

The City of St. Augustine reminds everyone to properly dispose of Fats, Oils, and Grease this Holiday Season. Place them in a safe container that will not melt or shatter. Then, be sure to save it for the annual used oil and electronics recycling event, scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2020.

Time:  7:30am-2:30pm

Drop-off Locations:
Francis Field, 25 W. Castillo Dr.

Anastasia Island (behind Parks & Rec Office), 840 W 16th Street

In the meantime, please remember:

• Never pour oil or grease down any drain or toilet
• Scrape food scraps from cookware and dinner plates into the trash, not down the drain
• Pour small quantities of fats, oils and grease into an empty jar, cool or freeze, seal and dispose of in the trash
• Recycle materials at a community collection event or any time at the City of St. Augustine Wastewater Treatment Plant
