Join us at Washington Oaks for Timucua! Native American Program on November 26, 2021, 10:00am-12:00pm.

Hands-on program focusing on the Timucuan tribes who lived in the maritime hammocks of Florida’s East Coast.

Sample food and drink important to the Timucuan Indians. Witness a fire-starting demonstration.  Artifacts and Timucuan artwork will be on display.

Participants will walk approximately a quarter mile. Please wear comfortable shoes; there could be uneven ground.  And, remember to bring insect repellent as well as water.  Chairs will be available as needed.
