St. Johns County Solid Waste is holding a Super Community Collection Event on Saturday, October 16, 2021  from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Tillman Ridge Landfill.

Residents can safely dispose of:

* household hazardous waste
* electronics
* tires (limit 10 per household) free of charge; automobile and light truck tires will be accepted
* paint
* motor oil & gasoline
* fluorescent bulbs
* wax
* car and appliance batteries
* pesticides
* obsolete electronics such as monitors, modems, desk phones, and stereos

Items not accepted:
* microwave ovens
* large appliances
* yard debris
* household garbage
* construction debris
* commercial materials
