In the interest of public safety and in an effort to minimize the impact of COVID-19 within our community, the program is closed to the public or cancelled from March 16 through March 29, 2020.


St. Johns County Solid Waste is holding a Super Community Collection Event on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Anastasia Square Shopping Center.

Residents can safely dispose of:

* household hazardous waste
* electronics
* tires (limit 10 per household) free of charge; automobile and light truck tires will be accepted
* paint
* motor oil & gasoline
* fluorescent bulbs
* wax
* car and appliance batteries
* pesticides
* obsolete electronics such as monitors, modems, desk phones, and stereos

Items not accepted:
* microwave ovens
* large appliances
* yard debris
* household garbage
* construction debris
* commercial materials
