St. Augustine Poetfest 2023

Join us for the 2nd annual St. Augustine Poetfest — Friday & Saturday, April 14 & 15, 2023.   This year’s theme is “Beat Poetry: Florida and Beyond”.  In recognition of National Poetry Month, Ancient City Poets have partnered with the English Department of Flagler College and the St. Johns Cultural Council.

Friday, April 14 from 7:00pm-9:00pm kicks off the Fest with an Open Mic at Relampago Coffee Lab. Sign up sheet will be out at 6:30pm. Hosted by the English Department of Flagler College.

Saturday, April 15 the day-long celebration of creative writing and reciting begins at 8:00am with a guided labyrinth meditation.

Events from 9:00am-5:00pm include: a Storytellers Panel, an Open Mic Marathon, and Book Sale Table, and a Dramatic Theater Reading.

At 7:00pm, the keynote presentation will be in the Virginia Room on the 2nd floor of Flagler College’s Ringhaver Student Center.

New for 2023 will be ‘PoetFest at Night’ featuring three ticketed events at Sarbez (located at 115 Anastasia Blvd) starting at on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday presented by Hellthy, Bandturo, and Ancient City Poets.
