St. Augustine Orchestra Season Opening Concert

The award-winning St. Augustine Orchestra opens its 58th season celebrating the melodious sounds of brass and woodwind instruments with classic pieces from the mid-1800s to a contemporary concerto for tuba written by a distinguished, Emmy Award-winning composer.

The Masterworks Concert: Brahms, Schubert & Friends will include Johannes Brahms’ lively Academic Festival; Franz Schubert’s ‘unfinished’ Symphony No. 8; Johann Nepomuk Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto and Bruce Broughton’s Tuba Concerto.  It showcases the excellent wind instrument players in the Orchestra.

Tickets:  $27.50 – Adults / $12.00 – Students age 11-17 / Free – Youth 10 & under.  Box office open 7:30pm.  All seating is general seating.  Click on the event website link to purchase your tickets and for additional information.
