The St. Augustine Memorial Day Observance takes place in the the city’s National Cemetery Monday, May 27, 2019, at 10 AM. Brigadier General (Ret) Valeria Gonzalez-Kerr will be the keynote speaker for the annual ceremony which begins with appropriate music and the march in of massed flags from local veterans’ organizations. Local veterans who have died in the past year will be recognized and honored with the “Fallen Comrade Tribute.”
