The Special Needs Kids Day Event that was postponed from Thursday, April 7, 2022 is now on Thursday, August 4, 2022, 7:30am-1:00pm.

C.A.S.T. (Catch A Special Thrill) for Kids Foundation is hosting a free, fun-filled day of fishing for children with disabilities, ages 6-18.

Participants and caregivers are paired with volunteers for this fun day of boating and fishing from the Northeast Florida Marlin Club.  Leave your problems onshore.  Your kids will gain confidence and learn something new.

Enjoy 2-3 hours of fishing, a delicious lunch and an awards celebration where your child will receive a personalized plaque. This is a day of fishing your child will never forget!

Event Timeline:
6:30am — Volunteers Arrive
7:30am — Participants Arrive for Sign-in, Safety Overview
8:00am — Line In! Fishing Begins
11:00am — Line Out! Head back for Weigh-in
11:30am — Final Weigh-in
11:00am-12:00 — Lunch…provided by Bono’s BBQ
12:00pm — Awards & Announcements.  Stick around for Group Photo!
