The park will be closed until further notice following the Governor’s direction and CDC guidance. For additional information or questions, please contact Florida State Parks at 850-245-2157. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Effective Monday, May 4, 2020: The beach at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park will be open from 8am to sunset for active recreation such as walking, jogging, swimming and fishing. Parking is limited.   All other parts of the park are closed. 

Normal fees apply. Visitors are expected to maintain safe social distances of at least 6 feet apart and limit group size to 10 people.<

Join the Friends of Washington Oaks every month for the Second Saturday Plant Sale from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  Plant sales feature a selection of flowers, plants, and bushes along with the unusual and hard to find plants for your home, patio, or garden.

You may find Florida Natives among the selections on the plant benches. A portion of the plants were propagated and grown in the park.

All the proceeds benefit the park for enhancement of current and new facilities.

Regular park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on bicycle applies.
