History buffs…check out The School of the 16th Century on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Gonzalez-Alvarez House/Oldest House Museum.  Designed to show/teach you everything you would want to know about the 16th Century (1513-1586).

Learn about military drills and how to fire a crossbow or musket.  Watch demonstrations about clothing, cooking and other skills that were used.

Demonstrations from 10:00am-5:00pm.  There is even an encampment that is open to the public.

Presented by the Historic Florida Militia.
