Due to Tropical Storm Nicole’s impending arrival, the Project S.W.I.N.G. Re-Opening has been cancelled. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Calling all families with school-aged children to the Project S.W.I.N.G. Re-Opening on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00am!

The City of St. Augustine will rededicate its’ iconic playground, Project S.W.I.N.G. (St. Augustine’s Wish for Its Next Generation) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official re-opening of the park.  Mayor Tracy Upchurch will offer remarks.  Members of the community who helped with this project will be recognized.

Parking for those who wish to attend the ceremony will be available free of charge at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility from 10:30am – 11:15am.   Notify the gate attendant when you enter the parking garage that you are attending the Project S.W.I.N.G. ceremony.
