Come to the Second Saturday Plant Sale at Washington Oaks held by the Friends of Washington Oaks. Plant sales feature a wonderful selection of flowers, plants, and bushes along with the unusual and hard to find plants for your home, patio, and garden. You may find Florida Natives among the selections on the plant benches. A portion of the plants were propagated and grown in the park and all the proceeds from the sale directly go back to benefit the park.

One of the favorite activities of the park’s plant bench volunteers is plant propagation. See how new plants are started from stem cuttings and offsets at our 11:00am Plant Chat. Start one (or a few!) new plants to take home.

Plant Bench volunteers now have their own dedicated phone line at the park. Please leave a voice message at 386-302-5590. Volunteers are not at the park daily. Please be patient as your call will be responded to as soon as possible.

Regular park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on bicycle applies.
