Parks & Rec 50th Anniversary Celebrations “Popsicles & Playgrounds”

St. Johns County Parks and Recreation’s 50th Anniversary is in July 2022. To celebrate the milestone, Parks & Rec is holding several community-wide events throughout the summer.  Entitled “Popsicles & Playgrounds”, the celebrations are family-friendly, free and open to the public.  At each celebration, there will be an unveiling of a special 50th Anniversary logo.

The events also include opportunities to learn about the history of Parks & Rec, discover new parks and playgrounds, and check out new programs hosted by the department.  Additional events are in the works for July.
