Everyone is invited to become a pirate for a weekend at the 3rd Annual Old City Pirate Fest in St. Augustine on Friday through Sunday, January 25, 26, and 27, 2019. This full weekend of pirate-themed fun geared for the whole family will be hosted by the St. Augustine Swashbucklers at the Colonial Quarter.
This will be a festival of all things pirate, with plenty of food and drink, music and entertainment, and activities for the whole family, including live entertainment on two stages, a lively kids area with games and prizes, a vendors row with tons of pirate merchandise, and black powder and sword demonstrations. There will be puppet shows, musicians, and magicians on hand each day to entertain both adult pirate fans and little pirates-in-training.
The Pirate Fest opens on Friday night with a concert by Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 when purchased in advance through Pay Pal using the email address email@example.com.
There will be a few special guests and performers at the Pirate Fest this year, including a special show at 3:10 on Saturday with Keith Hill, the Forged in Fire Champions and Knife or Death Grand Champion. The Ancient City Sirens will host a Gypsy Encampment both Saturday and Sunday. The highlight performers on the Main Stage over the weekend will be Dirty James and the Rusty Anchors (date and time TBA).
