Join the Friends of the GTM Reserve when they host their 9th annual Oceanwise: An Evening for the Estuaries. Celebrate the estuary and our precious coastal ecosystems with your fellow Friends and supporters.  Action News Jax evening anchor John Bachman will once again serve as emcee.  The keynote speaker this year is Professor Barbara Blonder, associate professor of natural sciences and director of undergraduate research at Flagler College. Blonder’s research and training spans from working with The Nature Conservancy in both Putnam County and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, to working for the North Carolina National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) as a stewardship coordinator, along with researching spiny lobsters in the Florida Keys for the Florida Marine Research Institute.

Dress in casual…just like the event. Partake in the silent auction. Enjoy tasty tapas and desserts, libations, and live music while the sun sets on the Guana River.
