Militia Muster at Fort Mose

Join us on the first Saturday of the month (unless there is a special event) for Militia Muster at Fort Mose Historic State Park …. 9:30am-11:30am.

Visitors will see the Fort Mose Militia bring the 18th century back to life.  Witness weapons drills, which includes musket firings and interpretations. Talk with re-enactors to learn how Fort Mose militia protected St. Augustine from invasion by the British.

Children of all ages are welcome to participate in children’s militia training, including wooden toy muskets and authentic uniform accessories.

It’s a great opportunity for some photos and to immerse yourself in history.

Admission:  Park Grounds –  Free |  Visitor Center/Museum – $2.00 admission fee per adult; Free – Children under 6
