A free Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered to all active military and veterans on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Time/Location: 9:00am-11:00am | Surf Side Park Pavilion

“Surf Fishing” focuses on all the bait options for freshwater fishing and when to use them. Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.

Please bring your own equipment if possible. Gear is available if needed.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for license information.

Designed in partnership with the VA to provide an opportunity for military veterans to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.
