Military Veteran Fishing

A free Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.  The program is designed to provide military veterans of all abilities an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.

Time/Location: 9:00am-11:00am | Usina Boat Ramp

During “Knot Tying”, learn about all the various nets and traps that can be used for fishing. Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for Saltwater Shoreline Fishing Information.

Designed in partnership with the VA to provide an opportunity for military veterans to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.
