A Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered on January 25, 2023 to all military veterans at the Vilano Pier from 9:00am-11:00am.

Saltwater fishing has its’ own set of jargon and it can be confusing. “Fishing Lingo” focuses on all the fishing lingo you need to know for your next adventure.

Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.

Please bring your own equipment if possible. Gear is available if needed.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC. Click for license information.

Designed in partnership with the VA to provide an opportunity for military veterans to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.
