Miles Batt 2 & Vikki Stockton Exhibition is an exhibition of fantastical watercolor and ceramic works at the Cultural Center. Explore exotic surreal-pop and abstract expressionist works by Miles Batt 2 and detailed sculptures influenced by nature from Celebrate Art 2017’s Best in Show artist, Vikki Stockton. Stockton will be donating proceeds to cancer research. Their work will be on display August 17-September 22, 2018.

Florida artist Miles G. Batt Jr. has been influenced by the Bauhaus artists Klee, Itten and Kandinsky, and others as Miro, Matisse, and Picasso. He paints vivid exotic images that grab attention and inspire the senses.

Growing up in the mountains of Western NC has inspired Vikki Stockton to focus on the elements of nature when creating her one of a kind hand built ceramic pieces. Her work ranges from the collectible personalized piece to functional art. Spheres are covered in regional native plants and animals, each lovingly crafted by hand.

Meet the artist, enjoy refreshments, and listen to live music during the Exhibition Opening on Friday, August 17th at 6:00pm.
