Mardis Gras Themed Event

Come out to The Waterworks on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 for A Wicked Mardi Gras. Free and open to the public.  Presented by Friends of the Main Library.

This fun Mardis Gras-themed event features Ann Colby, author of Wicked St. Augustine.  She’ll share a treasure-trove of lurid tales from the Ancient City.

Learn how St. Augustine compared to the famed Storyville District in New Orleans in terms of gambling, liquor, and ladies for hire as the explorers came from the expedition of Pedro Menendez de Aviles.
