Loving Beethoven Traveling Musical Installation
The world will celebrate Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday anniversary in 2020. The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, in partnership with Interactive Music Museum (MIMMA) in Malaga, Spain, is paying tribute to this milestone thanks to the traveling musical installation Loving Beethoven.
The installation will be on display July 6 – September 25, 2020. It was originally on display March 6 to May 26, 2020, but had to be postponed due to COVED-19.
The interactive installation, created by MIMMA’s design team, features sizable individual spheres that when hugged, allow you to feel Ludwig van Beethoven’s music through vibration. The spheres change color when touched, which creates a unique sensorial and immersive experience.
Admission tickets are $5 and will be available for purchase online.
Loving Beethoven is sponsored in part by Robert and Monica Jacoby and Joseph P. Bryant.
Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday | 10:00am – 4:00pm
New procedures are being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of staff, volunteers, and visitors with the reopening of the Cultural Center on July 6, 2020. Along with monitoring the number of visitors in the building at one time, there will be one-way flow through the Cultural Center.
