Lightner Learning Lab: Degas, Prints and I

Children aged 5 – 14 are invited to tour and learn about the different types of prints on view in the Lightner  Museum’s collection and in the Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist exhibition.  Lightner museum educators will provide a richer understanding of the types of printmaking while encouraging young visitors to truly look and appreciate why artists choose to work in their selected print media.  Our tour will be followed by an enjoyable printmaking activity.

Little Lightners (ages 5 – 9 accompanied by an adult) will meet from 10:00am – 11:30am.
Lightner Leaders (ages 10 – 14) will meet from 2:00pm – 3:30pm.

Tickets are $5 for children with an additional $5 fee for parents living outside of St. Johns County. Reservations are required and space is limited. For tickets and more information, click on the event website link.
