Join us on the last Thursday of the month for Lightner After Hours. During this monthly event, locals and tourists alike are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of the Lightner Museum after hours while relaxing with refreshments before visiting some of the many wonderful local restaurants including Cafe Alcazar.

Mark your calendar for October’s ‘After Hours’ as the Lightner Museum’s birthday celebration continues! Join the staff and volunteers for an evening of enlightening conversation, exceptional music, and a sweet treat! In addition to the 70th birthday of the Lightner, we also are celebrating the 130th birthday of the Hotel Alcazar. Live music will be provided by Blue Muse Jazz, and there will be cupcakes for the first 150 guests that arrive. Docents will be available to answer questions in each of our galleries.

Lightner After Hours is free and open to the public. Beverages are available for a donation. Professional attire is encouraged. Guests may enter through the side courtyard doors on Granada and Cordova Streets, near the central courtyard. Entrances will be clearly marked. The museum is handicap accessible and has an elevator that accesses each level.
