Join St. Johns County’s Naturalist AyoLane Halusky at Canopy Shores Park on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 for Learning Bird Language. Learn the voices of bird language, simplified into two categories; 1) baseline or maintenance behaviors and 2) alarms as an interruption of baseline.
Birds rely on their heightened sense of awareness to evaluate their environment. They are equipped to read subtle actions and intuitively understand the attitude of another species in the area. Birds speak to each other about what they know through sound, body language and placement of themselves within their environment.
