Kayak Adventures and Nature Tours

Join us on the #1 rated Kayak Adventures in St Augustine on our award winning Dolphin, Birding, & Nature Tours!  St. Augustine Eco Tours was founded as an educational resource for the local and extended community. The goal of our programs is on-water interpretive experience that focus on environmental education, conservation, and wildlife and habitat protection. Ask about our pet-friendly tours.

Salt Marsh Kayak Adventure:

Our daily Kayak trip is one of the most unique and user friendly kayak tours in the Southeast. We have a dedicated slip at the city marina where a specialized kayak dock makes getting in and out of the kayaks the easiest part of the trip. Extremely stable tandem kayaks with rudders make steering a breeze for beginners or the more experienced paddler. No experience is necessary for our 2 hour guided nature tour. We start you out with a brief paddling clinic that will get you comfortable with your paddle and kayak. You’ll do a little kayak-specific stretching while you get comfortable with the equipment on land and learn our safety protocol. Then, your guide will take you on a paddle under the iconic Bridge of Lions, past the formidable Spanish fort and into the saltwater marshes of the historic mission grounds. Offered every morning at 10:00am.

Dolphin, Birding & Nature Experience:

Our most popular one and a half hour trip explores the rivers and creeks surrounding St. Augustine and combines dolphin and bird watching with marine ecology, historic sights, and an amazing boat ride. This tour provides personalized interpretive tours for small groups of 2 to 14 guests. This ensures a dynamic trip as the guide can cater the experience to the interests of the group. Want to see dolphin? Sea Turtles? Manatee? Roseate Spoonbill? Just let your captain know and they will do what they can to grant your wish. Our goal is to provide intimate experiences for everyone who wants to get out on the water. This trip is guaranteed to excite and educate guests of all ages!
