Fort Matanzas National Monument invites the public to a special Junior Ranger program featuring our endangered species, the sea turtle. This educational storytelling about sea turtles that nest along the east coast of Florida will be presented June 30, 2018 inside the Visitor Center and recommended for ages 4 to 10, but all ages are welcome. National Park Service volunteer Bonnie Eger will read a children story with activities to encourage young minds to develop an interest in preservation and protection of our environment and the animals that inhabit our planet.

Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy our shaded picnic area under majestic Live oak trees at the park. Walk the park trails or visit the fort on a free ferry ride to Fort Matanzas. For additional information, call 904-471-0116.
