The National Park Service is offering a Junior Ranger Birder Class at Fort Matanzas National Monument. Free event — recommended for kids ages 7-11.

Dates | Time: March 14 or 21, 2023 | 10:00am-11:30am

It’s a great opportunity for children to learn more about birds and their habitats. There will be crafting, learning about feathers and beaks, and a bird walk through the park.

Class starts in the picnic area near the visitor center.

All participants must wear closed-toed shoes and be accompanied by an adult.

Sunscreen, bug spray and water are strongly recommended.
