About St. Augustine Humane Society
The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy, lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in our community. Executive Director Carolyn Smith explains: “Our programs are designed to strengthen human / pet relationships by reducing the need for pets to enter shelters. Through generous support from the Columbia and our community, we can continue to work diligently to encourage the humane treatment of animals, avoid overpopulation, and prevent animal suffering.”
