St. Augustine Humane Society & Columbia Community Harvest

It’s time for the Columbia Community Harvest!   Simply dine at the Columbia Restaurant during the month of September.  While there, choose the St. Augustine Humane Society from the list on the ballot provided.  And enjoy your meal!

The Gonzmart family, founder of the Columbia Restaurant, will donate a portion of your check to the St. Augustine Humane Society.  It really is that simple.  Since the program’s inception, the Columbia Community Harvest has given more than $3 million to charities in cities throughout Florida.

Great food for a great cause. It’s a win-win! Oh, and don’t forget your doggie bag!  So, remember, in September, choose the Columbia Restaurant and the St. Augustine Humane Society!

About St. Augustine Humane Society

The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy, lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in our community. Executive Director Carolyn Smith explains: “Our programs are designed to strengthen human / pet relationships by reducing the need for pets to enter shelters. Through generous support from the Columbia and our community, we can continue to work diligently to encourage the humane treatment of animals, avoid overpopulation, and prevent animal suffering.”
