Hopinka Exhibition Walkthrough and Reception

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum is hosting a walkthrough of their newest exhibition of work entitled “Around the Edge of Encircling Lake” by Sky Hopinka, a former CEAM Artist in Residence. The exhibition will include three videos: “Cloudless Blue Egress of Summer” (2018), “Fainting Spells” (2018), and “Jáaji Approximately” (2015). Each work is a constellation of stories carefully woven together through image, sound, narration, and text.  The exhibition Opening Reception is November 2, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.  The exhibition will be on display November 2 through December  8, 2018.
