GTM Talks – Virtual Lecture Series presents Hurricanes, Coastal Squeeze and a Keystone Species.  Join Barbara Blonder on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 3:00pm-4:00pm.  She’ll be discussing hurricanes and implications for conservation planning.

Barbara Blonder is an associate professor of natural sciences at Flagler College.  During her 18 years at Flagler College, she initiated their undergraduate research program and served as its inaugural director.

As a visiting investigator at GTM Research Reserve, Blonder has led research students and volunteers in focusing on coastal ecosystem disturbance ecology and conservation, with emphasis on fire ecology and storm impacts on these sensitive and highly threatened areas.
