GTM Talks – Virtual Lecture

Join Dr. Brian Shamblin on Monday, April 19, 2021 for GTM Talks. Learn about the genetics research project focused on answering basic loggerhead sea turtle nesting questions. How often does each turtle nest? How close to her hatching site does each female return to lay her eggs?

Dr. Shamblin is assistant research scientist at the University of Georgia. GTM Research Reserve is collaborating with the university of the research project. Through the collaboration, GTM can leverage its longstanding nesting project and volunteer program to gain a better understanding of sea turtle nesting populations.

The event is free and open to the public.  Reserve your spot today by clicking the event website link!
