The Off-Broadway classic “Godspell” will be at the Backyard Stage of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.  Performances by Apex Theatre Studio, are Monday and Tuesday, June 28 & 29, 2021.

“Godspell” offers a variety of musical styles and theatrical formats to make the Gospel of St. Matthew accessible to today’s audiences.  Its’ much-loved score includes the hits “Day by Day” and “Prepare Ye the Way”.

The production features young artists from five area high schools including Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Atlantic Coast High School and Stanton College Preparatory School.  Jake Moorehead, a rising junior at the prestigious Point Park University (Musical Theatre program), plays the role of Jesus.

Doors: 7:00pm / Show: 8:00pm

Tickets: $17.00 | Reserved Seating | Limited-capacity.

Tickets sold in pods/groupings ranging from 2 to 6 seats per pod.  And, each pod is at least six feet from one to the next.  All seats within the pod must be purchased together.
