Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series 2024

It’s time once again for the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series. This 3rd annual event is on select dates from February 8-17, 2024 at Fort Mose Historic State Park.

Honoring History and Community Through Music!  Featuring a lineup of internationally renowned artists like Common, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) with Wynton Marsalis, Keb’ Mo’, and more.

A portion of the proceeds from a charity fee built into each ticket will support the Fort Mose Historical Society in their mission to promote and preserve the site’s rich history.

Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series Schedule

Thursday, February 8, 2024 —  Common – An illustrious rapper, actor, and writer. Known for his poetic and thought-provoking music, he brings a unique fusion of hip-hop and jazz to the stage.

Friday, February 9, 2024  —  Preservation Hall Jazz Band – New Orleans-based, this band embodies the spirit of traditional jazz. Their performances are a journey through the heart and soul of New Orleans’ musical heritage.

Saturday, February 10, 2024  —  Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis – Led by the legendary Wynton Marsalis – a trumpet virtuoso and a multiple Grammy winner – this orchestra is renowned for its commitment to jazz education and preservation.

Friday, February 16, 2024  —  Christone “Kingfish” Ingram with special guest Taj Farrant – Hailed as the future of the blues, Ingram’s raw and expressive guitar work has not only earned him a Grammy but also 10 Blues Music Awards.

Saturday, February 17, 2024  — Keb’ Mo’ – A modern master of American roots music, Keb’ Mo’s music reflects a deep appreciation for his blues heritage and is a testament to the enduring power of the blues.
