Join a knowledgeable birder at Fort Mose for the Guided Bird Walk on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 8:00am-10:00am.  This event is Free.

Birders of all levels are welcome. You’re bound to see a variety of herons, egrets, wood storks, hawks, wood peckers and owls swishing through the trees at Fort Mose.  Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them.

Meet in the Fort Mose Parking Lot.  The program is weather permitting.

In addition to the program, the park’s museum and visitor center will be open.  Visitors can watch a 15-minute film on the history of Fort Mose and its residents, as well as learn about the site through the interactive museum exhibit.   Entrance to the museum is $2.00.
