Don’t miss the First Friday Art Walk Recital at the Cathedral Basilica.   Recitals are open to the public and vary each month from organ music to piano to flute to performances by choruses / choirs.   Octobers’ recital features The St. Augustine Chamber Singers presenting their Fall Concert.

The concert, entitled Feel the Spirit, features works by two British composer; John Rutter and Will Todd. The choir will also perform a jazz setting of Missa Brevis by Will Todd, a young British composer and jazz musician. The Missa Brevis will be accompanied by piano, bass, drums, alto sax and trumpet.

A ten piece chamber orchestra will accompany the choir which is directed by Kathleen Vande Berg and accompanied by Barbara Mattingly.  Guest artist is Lisa Lockhart, soprano. Ms. Lockhart has recently been seen as the Countess Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro with First Coast Opera.

Free-will offerings are accepted to help defray expenses.
