EMMA Concert Series – Sharon Isbin and the Pacifica Quartet

EMMA Concert Series 2023-2024 season kicks off on Sunday, September 10, 2023 — 2:00pm-4:00pm with Sharon Isbin and the Pacifica Quartet.

Multiple GRAMMY Award winner Sharon Isbin has been hailed as “the pre-eminent guitarist of our time”.  Sharon is acclaimed for her extraordinary lyricism, technique, and versatility.  She’s the winner of Guitar Player magazine’s ‘Best Classical Guitarist’ award and the Toronto and Madrid Queen Sofia competitions.  And, she was also the first guitarist ever to win the Munich Competition.

Over the past two decades the Pacifica Quartet has gained international stature as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. The quartet is recognized for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and daring repertory choices.

The concert is for everybody – regardless of age, gender, or familiarity with the concert hall.

Please Note:  There is no parking at Lewis Auditorium. Ticket price includes parking at St. Johns County Council on Aging, 180 Marine Street and shuttle service to and from the venue.
