Dine on the Wildside Benefit
The 25th annual Dine on the Wildside Benefit, presented by HAWKE, will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019. HAWKE will have exclusive use of the Alligator Farm from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Treat your Mom, family, and friends to a wild Saturday they will never forget and help local wildlife get a second chance at life at the same time!
How about dining next to a roseate spoonbill while being serenaded by the sounds of a natural wildlife rookery all while supporting a very worthwhile organization? HAWKE, The Humane Association of Wildlife Care & Education, a 501(3) not-for-profit charity that started in 1987, rehabilitates orphaned wild birds, mammals and reptiles.
The dinner will feature music by BOB Paterson and friends. Enjoy a guided tour of the bird rookery from the boardwalk. View thousands of birds in all stages of life, from courtship to nesting. Be sure to bring your camera for unique close up photographic opportunities! You can see all the exhibits at the Alligator Farm, an amazing Zoo which also has many endangered species used in breeding programs to return to the wild.
