The Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas are closed effective Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  The closing is in anticipation of severe weather and potential impacts from Tropical Storm Nicole.

Even though the storm track is unpredictable, park officials are erring on the side of caution to keep visitors, volunteers and staff safe.

Both will remain closed until further notice.
