Even though the boats are still down, you can still enjoy the Cannon Firing at Fort Matanzas on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

Come out and join park rangers for a guided nature and history walk along the marsh and shoreline. Learn about the many plants and animals that live in the area. The walk concludes across the river from Fort Matanzas where visitors learn a little history and watch the fort’s cannons fire.

Six walks are being offered, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. They begin and end at the Fort Matanzas Visitor Center.

Walk Times: 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, & 3:00pm.
