Batty for Bats Celebration
Join Anastasia State Park as they celebrate our flying mammal friends! Bat Week, happening October 24-31, helps dispel the undeserved reputation bats have for being bad. Since bats are wonderful and very beneficial to our environment, we want to celebrate these amazing creatures with you!
This family-friendly program will start with an educational talk followed by an easy “bat craft” at the end of the presentation. All participants who come dressed up as a bat will get a special prize!
Free with regular park admission of: $8 per vehicle, limit 2-8 people per vehicle; $4 per single-occupant; $2 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
