Join us on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10:00am to 3:00pm for the Battle of Bloody Mose reenactment.

Re-enactors depict the 1740 Spanish victory at Fort Mose forcing the British to retreat from Spanish Florida.  Spanish soldiers, Fort Mose militia and Yamassee warriors surprised the British in an early morning attack. They quickly reclaimed Fort Mose through a fierce display of force, hence the title of “The Battle of Bloody Mose”.

Reenactments at 11:00am and 1:00pm.

Admission to the event and park grounds is Free. There is a $2.00 per adult fee to enter the Visitor Center. Children under 6 are always free.
