The St. Augustine Art Association and Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (CEAM) are offering a Free Artist’s Book Community Workshop.

One-Day Workshop Information:

Friday, March 25, 2022     — 1:30pm-4:00pm — Crisp-Ellert Art Museum.  Click link to register.

Saturday, March 26, 2022 — 1:30pm-4:00pm — St. Augustine Art Association. Click link to register.

Students can register for both if they wish to create a more expansive book. Supplies and refreshments provided.

The workshop is for artists looking to explore conceptualization and different approaches to their work through the creation of an artist’s book.

Pablo Vindel, CEAM Artist in Residence, leads the workshop. His aim is to approach the book as an expansive experience, as a space for play and communication and, ultimately, as a place for collective action and shared knowledge.

Vindel is a visual artist and writer. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, as well as art fairs internationally.
